TRAIL ETIQUETTE

  • Be sure to pack out what you brought in with you.
  • When stopping on the trail or resting, make sure you step off the trail to allow other skiers to pass.
  • Yield to faster skiers.
  • The right of way goes to skiers coming down a hill.
  • On double tracks, ski on the right.
  • On one-way trails, be sure to ski in the proper direction.
  • Do not walk on ski trails.
  • Have fun!

THINGS TO PACK FOR YOUR BLUE HILLS ADVENTURE

  • Cross-country skis and snowshoes
  • A daypack with a few emergency items (first aid kit, water, cell-phone, matches)
  • Lots of layers of clothes
